Pasta… Pasta... Pasta!
Hello to all of our KCC families. October seems to be flying by quickly with Thanksgiving already done, and Halloween just around the corner. Is it possible to squeeze any more into these 31 days?
YES!!! I discovered that:
October 17th is NATIONAL PASTA DAY
and
OCTOBER 25th is WORLD PASTA DAY.
Two days that are dedicated to paying tribute to a food that has become a staple in many cuisine options. It is versatile, it is healthy (in the right portion size and varieties), and it is DELICIOUS.
As the staff at both homes know, pasta is one of the favourite foods for many of our KCC kids. To help you celebrate, I have put together this wee post to share some interesting pasta facts and activities.
FUN FACTS — DID YOU KNOW?
🍝 It is estimated that there are over 350 different types of pasta
